A motorcycle rider identified as Yakubu Samuel was this morning Feb. 19th crushed to death by an Ebute Metta-bound train coming from Ijoko in Ogun State.
According to PM News, Yakubu ignored the Nigeria Railway Corporation traffic control officer who stopped all vehicles to pave way for the train to pass at the Fagba level crossing in Iju Ishagba, one of the rail terminal points.
He was obviously in a hurry and so he ran into the train and was crushed to death on the spot. Yakubu was a security officer at CLAM church in Omole, Lagos. Sympathizers at the scene of the accident used his phone to contact his family members. See the pic after the cut..
